"All men are bound to seek the thruth, especially in what concerns God and his Church, and to embrace the truth they come to know and to hold fast to it"
The Church is the only way to salvation. That in itself has been told to us by Jesus and his countless saints and holy people. Jesus showed the way to salvation through himself. So that means that all born after 33 AD are condemned to Hell, right? Wrong. Jesus Christ founded the Church, his bride, to carry on his work in the world. As the Church is a Pilgrim Church, on a journey and in a constant struggle for salvation, it also carries on Jesus' work of salvation. But this is probably a pretty phony salvation, right? Wrong, since Jesus founded the Church, his grace and infallibility is imparted to the Church so they can speak infallibly about religious topics and doctrine. The Church can lead people to salvation just as effectively as Jesus, and in more places too. GofGisMFA
